FORE Nepal (Friends of Royal Enfield)

FORE Nepal ( Friends of Royal Enfield ) is a united motorcycling non- profit organisation that brings together Royal Enfield, Vintage and classic riders in Nepal and abroad to promote two-wheel adventure tourism in Nepal and to support social cause. Since it’s inception in 2009 AD, the group has been organising motor biker’s events, joy rides, charity rides and has also actively participated in awareness campaigns throughout Nepal. Till date, FORE Nepal has recognized 25+ Royal Enfield motorcycling clubs in Nepal.

More recently, in the aftermath of the Nepal earthquake in 2015, FORE Nepal came together to provide immediate relief to help the people of Dubachaur, Sindhupalchowk to cope with the immediate crisis.

FLAGSHIP EVENTS

Enfield Rendezvous & Poker Run

In collaboration with Sacred Summits (P) Ltd., FORE Nepal been organizing the annual “Enfield Rendezvous & Poker Run” since April 2009. The event provides an opportunity to Royal Enfield and Classic bike enthusiasts to come together once a year to swap bike riding stories, share the road with fellow local and international riders in this fun event and celebrate the Nepali New Year in style.

World Tourism Day Rides

FORE Nepal has been promoting motorbike tourism in Nepal by organizing motorcycle rides/events on world tourism day i.e. September 27).

Ride to BOBMC Rider Mania and North East Riders Meet

BOBMC Ridermania is an annual motorcycling event held in India owned by Brotherhood of Bulleteers Motorcycling Consortium — a common forum that brings all Enfield Rider clubs in the world.

FORE Nepal organized numerous long distance rides to attend various motorcycling events in India.

NB: The 18th BOBMC Rider Mania 2020 (Chalo Nepal) was proudly hosted by FORE Nepal at Pame, Pokhara taking it to the international platform for the first time.

BIKERS WITH A CAUSE

School Maintenance Project

  • FORE Nepal Constructed and installed four toilets in Shree Nawa Durga Bhawani Basic School, Kakani- 6, Nuwakot for basic hygiene and sanitary purpose in the aftermath of the earthquake in 2015 initiated by close motorbiking friends around the world.
  • FORE Nepal organized the maintenance of Shree Durga Dudheshwori Primary School located at the remote southern hill of Lalitpur district in 2018. The school was renovated by the local government following the earthquake of 2015. In 2018, FORE Nepal supported the school by putting a false ceiling roof and painting the entire school. The classroom walls were also decorated with artwork with support from the art class students of DAV school.

Post-earthquake relief work

  • Members of FORE Nepal came together to provide relief to those affected.
  • Distributed tarpaulins, tents, blankets, mattress, food and basic medical supplies to the residents of Dubachaur, Sindhupalchowk.
  • Greater needs were realized
    • Construction of VDC health post in Dubachaur
    • Provide access to clean drinking water
    • Address sanitary problems
  • Led to the genesis of the project “7.6 Life to Dubachaur and beyond”.

Global Hand Washing Campaign

  • Supporting UNICEF’s global hand washing campaign since 2011.

Parkinson’s Awareness Ride

  • In 2018, riders from FORE Nepal completed Mechi-Mahakali Challenge Ride via the east-west highway of Nepal spreading awareness about Parkinson’s disease.

Flood Relief

  • Organized a relief support in southern Chitwan in 2017.
  • The team collected and dispatched basic food items, clothes and medicines to Eastern Terai Hospital for distribution to about 200 households in the flood affected areas.
